Just picture yourself and your cabin mates gathered around the table to pass a big breakfast platter of country ham and eggs, or maybe even dealing out a great hand from the euchre deck. Two to four people can share in the fun during the perfect getaway at Bean Blossom Village Cabin, where you are within walking distance of the Bill Monroe Memorial Bluegrass Park.

For more than fifty years, Bean Blossom has been home to many a bluegrass festival, so if this is your style of music, you’re going to be glad you chose to stay at Bean Blossom Village Cabin. The cabin features one large bedroom with a pretty queen-size bed, and one of the living room sofas has a queen-size sleeper for another couple, or the kids.

When you have a seat on the covered front porch, you’ll find that it’s a pretty fine place to watch the traffic pass by on State Road 135, as you contemplate the day’s activities over a cup of coffee or tea.

Collectors of antiques and oddities will be pleased to know that an interesting shop, Plum Creek Antiques, is also within walking distance of your front door; and right across the road from your cabin is Dollar General. If you decide that going out for meals is what you’d like to do, you have options galore.

They have all kinds of delicious-ness on their menu, as well as a lovely nursery full of shrubs, perennials, and annuals. The Gatesville General Store is another interesting stop that’s only a few miles east on Gatesville Road, where the sandwiches and desserts will surely satisfy when hunger pangs hit. Wish that it was advertised as right on busy hiway

Response From: Patty Frensemeier

It does tell you it is directly across from a Dollar General Store.

Hi. Our stay at Beanblossom cabin was amazing. We truly enjoyed ourselves and really appreciated the emails sent with all of the information. The day of our reservation, we realized that we were going to be a little later than the 4pm check-in time. We called to see if there would be a problem with it and the lady was exceptionally nice and helpful. We will definitely return to you all for all of our future stays in Brown County. Thank you so much!

I liked the rustic cabin. It was simple and nicely kept. the manager was kind enough to call to let us know it was not secluded or a "cabin in the woods" in case that was what we were looking for, but was in fact on one of the main roads that head in to Nashville which was fine by us. Dog friendly was a plus and I wish there were more available in the area. It was a short ride into town in about 5 minutes.
