This rustic cabin is just down Green Valley Road. Enjoy all Brown County Indiana has to offer, i.e. hiking, biking, golfing and horseback riding in nearby Brown County State Park, or tour the art galleries and quaint shops in Nashville.
Enjoy one of Brown County's truly unique vacation homes located about four miles from Nashville, this cabin is easy to find, yet private and secluded.
Loaded with warmth and charm, this is a great honeymoon and/or anniversary cabin. Inside you will find a king size bed in the loft, as well as a queen size bed and bathroom downstairs. There is an electric fireplace in the living area, and a cozy, well equipped kitchen, which allows for intimate dining inside or on the back deck.
Unwind while watching the cows in the pasture. It is surrounded by Salt Creek, farms and friendly neighbors down the road.
Sit on the front deck & watch the campfire in the fire pit or a horseshoe competition. Don't forget the hot dogs & marshmallows. You may see deer and wild turkeys which are occasionally in the fields around the property.
This is a great vacation home complete with a electric fireplace, satellite /local TV plus DVD player, board games and a rear deck with a hot tub, picnic table, and a charcoal grill. Enjoy the view from the swing outside. Please add your name to the wishing well for memories on your next visit.
You are just a few minutes away from Yellowwood State Forest or the village of Nashville, Indiana, with over 250 shops offering all forms of Brown County art, antiques, country crafts, jewelry and collectibles.
This cabin is convenient to Bloomington, Indiana, home of Indiana University. Plan to stay with us during football season and enjoy the great fall color.

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES
#1 - Cancellations of a confirmed reservation must be made by the Guest who made the original reservation, not a representative of that Guest.
#2 - Reservations cancelled more than 14 days prior to the arrival incur a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total charges before tax, plus the $30 handling fee.
#3 - Reservations cancelled 8-14 days prior to arrival, you lose the deposit paid.
#4 - Reservations cancelled within 7 days of the arrival, there is NO REFUND!
#5 - When within 14 days of arrival, the reservation cannot be shortened or moved.
#6 - When within 7 days of arrival, reservations cannot be changed or altered. No exceptions.
Deposit Policy
RESERVATIONS
#1 - The remaining balance will be due 7 days prior to check-in and will be automatically charged to the card on file. If you want a different charge card used for this balance, you must notify us before this balance is charged.
#2 - Refunds are not issued due to inclement weather, snow or acts of God that are out of our control.

Cabin was just as advertised. The updated deck was a nice addition.
It’s a very nice cabin, all open floor plan that worked well for my wife and I. If going with another couple we’d have preferred real bedrooms with doors vs this house which is all open. The house had an old farmhouse musty smell to it - not sure if there’s moisture in the crawl space or if the house just needs well aired out - but it worked for us.
We would definitely return, loved the privacy at night - there’s not anyone close to you at all and the stars were beautiful. Fire pit was nice, there is a hot-tub, horseshoe pits, a grill, a fire pit and plenty of room outside to enjoy the yard and let kids run around.
We stayed in this cabin once before, many years ago, and it was fun to be back. We loved the location; it’s a quick drive to Nashville but is very quiet and secluded. We used the hot tub daily and enjoyed the grounds.
The cabin itself is cute and has a good layout, but could use a few upgrades. There was no place to store any clothing—no drawers, closet, or hanging bar of any kind. The beds could use upgrading. The fact that they hooked it up to city water is really nice! Kitchen was appointed well enough for our needs.
Overall we like this cabin a lot and will consider it for future trips!
The cozy little cottage was a great place to stay! Very private and peaceful. Close to the downtown area, which was nice.

I always enjoy the stay at cottage at salt creek. We(I) am a very long time visitor. Andrea Brummett and I have enjoyed this particular cabin for at least 10 years. We are also always interested in any change of ownership. We have now gone through two transfers… if it ever comes up for another change please let us know. We have interest and experience in investment properties, and this particular property has a little draw of our hearts, for what ever reason.
We would definitely stay here again!! Loved the hot tub and location near both Brown County State Park and Yellowwood State Forest. Quiet and private setting.
