Steele, Brown County Back Roads Studio tour featuring many local artists and craftspeople working in their home studios, famous Story Inn restaurant and village, home of Bill Monroe Bluegrass Festival. TC Steele's home and studio is one of Indiana's State Historical sites and is only minutes away.

If you like Kayaking you can kayak gentle waters of Lake Monroe in small fingers/canals minutes away and easy put in at Crooked Creek launching ramp. This will then open up to a large part of the lake that is very shallow and safe to take children.
