What a lovely, secluded setting awaits the fortunate guests selecting Dogwood Point for their getaway spot. A pretty drive along a Brown County ridge top will deliver you to a rustic log cabin, surrounded by native hardwoods and lots of blue sky.
Upon entering through the front door, a large living room welcomes you with comfy furniture gathered around the stone fireplace with gas logs. Large screen satellite HDTV and WiFi will make couch potatoes and computer geeks contented. Of course, one could always choose to read a book, take a nap, or, if you’re lucky enough to get some rain, go out on the wrap-around porch and listen to the raindrops pelting the cabin’s metal roof. Now, that’s some serious country fun!
There’s a roomy kitchen and dining room adjacent to the living room with a table big enough for a couple or a crowd (if you’ve been generous enough to include a few of your nearest and dearest in your travel plans). French doors at the end of the dining room open on to a small back porch that leads to a new deck with a large spacious hot tub and a firepit just off the deck. Up the stairs to the second floor is where you’ll trundle off to bed at day’s end. The master bedroom features a large space with a king-size bed ; and then there’s a queen-size bed in the second bedroom. Each bedroom has a built-in window seat that’s nice for reading or watching the moon come up over the tree tops. The bedrooms share a full bath on the second floor; but there’s a handy half-bath on the main floor, as well.
Dogwood Point is nicely situated between Nashville and Bean Blossom so you’ll be within just a few scenic minutes of activities in either location. Think: Bill Monroe Bluegrass Festival, Remember Me Antiques, Greg Schatz Pottery Studio, and the Flower & Herb Barn just to name a few all to the north in the Bean Blossom area. Then to the south in Nashville, you might want to visit Hob Nob Corner Restaurant, Brown County Playhouse Theater, Brown County Winery, or spend several hours browsing the many shops and galleries in town. Whatever your preference for spending your down-time; Dogwood Point and Brown County are sure to please. Call or go online today to make your reservations!

Our family stay at Dogwood Point was beyond what we expected. It was beautiful and secluded-just what we needed to get away from our hectic lives! The information sent both at registration and the week before was extremely helpful. We felt we had all the supplies we needed, plus the cabin had a lot of items for use as well. We hope to stay here again in the near future!
Quick, friendly communication
We very much enjoyed our stay at Dogwood Point and it now our go-to place. Wish we could come back soon but will wait until next May when the weather warms. Only downside is bedroom is on the second floor, but that is Ok as this place is so close to town but still quiet.
We have been coming to Brown County for 20 years and we always rent from Hill’s O’Brown because of the great service, thank you. We appreciated the two emails and the advice on how to stay safe due to Covid. When we checked in, we were greeted with a staff member who was so friendly and welcoming. We appreciated how clean the cabin was. My only suggestion regarding the Dogwood Point Cabin would be to move the bed in the master due to the low ceiling. It is very easy to hit your head even though the beams are marked as low. Thanks again for a great stay and we look forward to our next visit.
It is a beautiful cabin and love that it is off of the road for some privacy. Only problem with that is it is very easy to miss. Passed it a a couple times during our stay. Everything is very organized and easy to locate and the people of contact were very easy to talk to. Will definitely be returning!
Easy check in.
I found the info received to be appropriately timed and helpful! This was our fifth time visiting the area, and we have used your rental agency each time…so we were already familiar with what to expect. But given the unique times we find ourselves in, the info was reassuring. Keep up the good work!
Nicely situated far enough off main road to feel reasonably isolated while still being conveniently located just over 2 miles from downtown Nashville
Such a cute cabin....so close to food and shopping. We really enjoyed booking here!
We enjoyed our stay at dogwood points nice clean little cabin with plenty of furnishings Looking forward to staying with you guys sometime in the summer hopefully have a great day and thanks again
We were at Dogwood Point and absolutely loved the cabin and the seclusion. The only downside was there was no dishwasher but that certainly won't keep us from going back there in the future. Thanks!!
This is a beautiful cabin in a beautiful location. Very secluded with no other homes in sight. Even at night we only saw a few distant lights from other houses. Even though the cabin is secluded, it's a very short drive down to Nashville. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the hot tub and cozying up by the fireplace...especially since we had three days of cold, rainy weather. I loved that they had bird feeders, which was nice to sit and watch on a rainy day also. One thing we really appreciated about the rental company itself was the level of detail they put into providing information about the cabin and the suggestions they provided for things to do in the local area. When we got a break in the weather, we were able to get out and explore two trails that were new to us! We also appreciated how quickly they responded to any questions or issues we had. When we had a problem come up at 10:30 at night on New Year's Eve we called the after hours emergency number and someone answered the phone immediately.
We had a WONDERFUL time! We will definitely be back in the future.
Your correspondences prior to our arrival were VERY helpful 🙂
Very quaint, quiet, and beautiful. The cabin is spacious, on a gorgeous piece of land in your own little getaway. Hot tub was so relaxing, beds were very comfortable, and the a/c works great. Only downside was the check-in check out procedure. It could be much more efficient rather than having to go to a separate office to get keys at a specific time, and having to return them back!
Great property...great views...great location. Loved our stay.
