Hoosier Nest is right! you drive up a long steep hill and you don't know what to expect. So exciting! At the end of the drive is a beautifully decorated home and charming barn, which would be amazing for a small wedding and reception! The home is large and well thought out. The kitchen was perfect to just hang out, cook, eat, and talk. We stayed on graduation weekend and the price was excellent for Bloominton. Plus, is was so quiet. All you could hear were the birds. Will stay again when visiting!
Amazing house! So clean and spacious. Tons of yard space and activities. Definitely recommend!
The Hoosier Nest was absolutely fantastic! Beautifully decorated, clean and tons of space. The property was stunning!
What a great experience we had at Hoosier Nest!! We had the time of our lives! Definitely such a great time. Always quick to answer and help!!! We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!
Chanterelle Chalet was beautiful! We enjoyed our stay complete with a fire and ping pong competition. There were six adults and everyone was comfortable and had a great time. The drive from Nashville was beautiful, but it does take about 15-20 minutes. Gals shopped in Nashville while the guys golfed 18 at Salt Creek. Hard Truth Distillery is a MUST to visit. We highly recommend staying at Chanterelle Chalet.
We loved our stay at this Cabin! The beds were comfortable, the deck and kitchen were great for cooking dinners, and it was stocked with everything you would need. Was very accommodating for our family, newborn, and our dogs.
Be mindful of the small, winding roads to get to the cabin. But perfect location to all shops and secluded!
Secluded cabin about 20 mins from the Brown County shops. Perfect for families!
Wonderful! Loved the location. Beautiful house, well appointed and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
This is a great cabin! The location is beautiful. Wonderful for three couples. It had everything we needed - the kitchen was so well stocked. The deck was huge. Beds were comfy. I really loved the wood burning fireplace in the basement. Patti was super responsive. I’d definitely visit again. Note that driving from the check in to the cabin is over very windy roads. Not recommended at night or during inclement weather if you’re not comfortable with some twists and turns.
Wow! A wonderful space for a family getaway! Chanterelle was clean, up to date, had everything we needed! The surrounding hills, valleys and forest were breathtaking. We enjoyed delicious meals at the Hob Nob and the Artists Colony Inn, either by dining in or takeout. We had such a great weekend! Hope to return again next year!
We really enjoyed our stay this weekend! It was the perfect venue for what we were looking to do. It was close enough to Nashville in case we wanted to pop down there but plenty of room if we decided to stay in. Due to the current COVID situation and an at-risk person in our group, we chose to stay in, relay, and utilize the cabin fully. We had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful fall weekend once the Friday night rains moved through.
Thank you for all the emails and info. We truly enjoyed our stay.
Great, secluded location with some trails through a beautiful woods! Nice house layout. You are able to mingle around the house and grounds if you desire but are still just 10-15 min away from downtown Nashville.
Very nice cabin in a beautiful setting. We never could get the TV on the main floor to work but the one in the basement was great. Be careful if you have problems with stairs as they are a bit steep and may be dangerous for some—keep some lights on at night if you sleep on the second floor and you’ll be fine.

We loved our stay at this cottage. It was a very relaxing and quiet, peaceful place to stay. We spent many hours on the deck. All the beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space to hang out even on our rainy day. We hiked at Yellowwood State Forest andvisited Butler Winery
We had a lovely time during our stay. The cottage was very comfortable and it is a quiet, peaceful location.
Just wanted to mention a couple things about our stay/experience. I thought all of your emails, information, and communication were quite adequate and informative in regards to our cabin, stay, and directions for check in, etc. My only complaint suggestion would be in regards to picking up our keys.
A couple things to note in regards to our rental. The thermostat said that the filter needs cleaning, and the toilet on the main floor would frequently run after flushing and you’d have to go back and jiggle the handle.
