Secluded cozy cabin
We were pleasantly surprised how secluded the cabin was! A quick 15 min drive to main Nashville area, come prepared with all you need so you don’t have to leave. But as soon as we drove up the long gravel road up to the property we were blown away by the beautiful setting along the small private pond. They even had some Snacks, hot cocoa and tea for us to enjoy upon arrival which was very appreciated. The cabin was more spacious than the photos showed and very clean and comfy inside. They even provided dishes and shampoo conditioner and body wash in the very nice and updated shower. However the grounds were a bit unkept, lots of leaves and debris, Some furniture was unusable and missing cushions and could probably just be thrown out. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, and would love to return again!

WE loved our time in your Beautiful Cabin. It was the perfect weekend getawyfor our family. Favorite Moments; fishing and sitting around the pond. Cooking dinner over the campfire and coffee looking over the beautiful property. We hope to come back soon and make more memories.

We have used hills o' brown for years. This cabin did not disappoint! So beautiful! Loved sitting by the pond and walking around the properties. Our fur babies were welcome and enjoyed exploring the property.

I highly recommend visiting Brown County, Indiana. This cabin was nestled in the trees with a private lake and game house where rambunctious children could play corn holes and darts. It was quiet except for the birds, which were lovely. The house is cozy, and the surrounding natural land allows children to explore freely. We traveled many hours to arrive at the after-hours check-in. It would have been nice to be able to check in early as we were tired from the drive, but we waited, with everyone else, for the check-in person to come at 4 pm. It was a bit of a mad house, with everyone wanting to check in all at once. But the hassle was worth it. Once we were settled in, we had a lovely family vacation. Bring your own salt and pepper as they don't keep the kitchen well stocked with basic necessities if you want to cook.
Thank you for the cabin-in-the-woods experience. We saw the eclipse on April 8 2024 from the driveway! It was an event our family will never forget. The Stone Family

Just what we needed
This was the perfect getaway for our family. It felt like a whimsical treehouse. The teenagers played darts. We all sat by a campfire and roasted marshmallows. My son with down syndrome service dog ran around the property and was in heaven. It was a special weekend. I’d love to upload a family video, but don’t know how. My only criticism is at the coffee situation wasn’t ideal. My husband and I can’t live without a cuppa coffee in the morning and the Nespresso pour over options weren’t great. If is important to you, I would bring your Keurig.

We had an absolutely amazing weekend at East Chelan cabin. What a special place!! It was everything and more than we hoped for. It was amazing to just be away from city life, and people, for a few days!! The cottage was very well appointed, we loved that it was a Smart home. The attention to detail of the woodwork was so intriguing, as were all the other details, like antique items and unusual artwork. The grounds were beautiful, even in winter. Our dog loved running through all the fallen leaves!!!
We would love to be able to meet the owners of the cabin one day, or be able to hear their story about how the cabin came about…My husband and I (and our dog) really would like to say a big thank you for a most amazing time away!! We came back feeling refreshed and ready to face the last month of 2023!! We look forward to our next visit!!

We have had a wonderful time here. Ron loved fishing and I love the quiet time. It is so peaceful! Our family has been through some very difficult things and we needed to step away stress and try to regroup. Certainly been able to do that here in this cozy cabin in the woods. We have enjoyed Nashville with the shopping and good food. This was our first time in this area and it won't be our last. Your cabin and the pond are so beautiful and we will fondly remember this beautiful cabin. We are so grateful and thankful we have enjoyed it so much. Great House
Our family of 4 had a really good stay at the house. It was well furnished, clean and very inviting. The owners were very thoughtful with the amenities they offered and the location of the house was great. Close to Lake Lemon, close to Bloomington, close to hiking trails...yet secluded and quiet for a perfect getaway. The pet friendly option was definitely a plus.

Thank you for letting us stay in your quaint cabin in the woods.We went to IU soccer game, fished, went to Riddle Point to the beach, stopped and ate at the Port Hole Inn, and then back to cabin to watch football, fish, eat hot dogs and s'mores. The weekend was just what we needed. Your cabin had all the necessities with bonus technology! The peaceful nights with clear skies skies was perfect. Thanks!
