Painter's Pointe at the Four Roses
Painter's Pointe offers one of the most beautiful views in all of Brown County! Artists from near and far have been painting and photographing this landscape for decades.
Painter's Pointe at the Four Roses is a newly renovated farmhouse with two bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower only. This country home has so much to offer!
The spacious living room offers a gas log fireplace, 42" flat screen satellite television, and plenty of seating for everyone. Just off the living room is the "Norman Rockwell" like kitchen. You'll swear you've just stepped into a 1950's ice cream parlor. From the kitchen table, you and your guests will enjoy the breathtaking views of the Brown County hills.
Both bedrooms offer queen sized beds accented with waterfall furniture. The master bedroom leads to the back deck and hot tub area, overlooking this priceless view. The hot tub has a large fence to ensure maximum privacy, yet still maximizing the incredible scenery.
Painter's Pointe is conveniently located on a shady hillside, on SR 46, between Bloomington and Nashville. You're only 15 minutes away from the Indiana University campus in Bloomington, and 10 minutes from all the shopping and entertainment venues in downtown Nashville. Come see the view everyone has been talking about, at Painter's Pointe!

Responsive host. Perfectly clean and everything in working order. Drip style coffee pot. Older “ grandma and grandpa“ style home. Cozy. Can hear traffic from front bedroom. Beds are not that comfortable.
Loved Painter's Pointe. Felt like home as soon as we walked in. Like a visit to our grandparents' house back in the day. Loved the kitchen. View from the back deck is very pretty. Clean. Just a real pleasant experience from the booking, the communication before the visit and the check-in.
Our stay was very nice. Painters Pointe was nice, clean, and the scenery just gorgeous, especially for photos. We found the emails useful and used them to ensure we were prepared. All in all it was a very good experience. Thank you!
Great location! Beautiful views.
Hot tub didn’t work and property management company wasn’t helpful. Home and location are great.
Amazing views, money well spent
We went looking for answers and returned with more questions. Whose stilettos were those? Were the boots stolen? Did Helen see this coming and fail to inform us? All we know for certain is Jim Rose is no longer in bloom and the dried petals of the rose family fall with deep sighs in a mound of secrets, suspicions, and mixed metaphors. If Jim is alive, we have a right to know. If he’s not, we demand to know just how many times he was killed. Curses on the Rose family. May your toasts always get slightly more burnt than your desired level and your vacuum cleaner gets unplugged—not all the way, just enough to stop the machine—mid vacuum. The kitchen utensils were nice and the lodgings were comfortable except for the mattresses and couch. The view is gorgeous. Nice and clean. Would go back. 4.5 out of 5.
Even with booking at the last minute, everything went smoothly. The house felt warm and cozy from the minute we walked in. We were getting away from a traumatic experience and just wanted to kick back and relax. This fit the bill perfectly. It was stocked with everything we needed except food, but the IGA was not far away. We would definitely like to come back again.
We had a great stay and enjoyed the house and our stay. The information leading up to our stay was extremely helpful and appreciated. Thanks so much.
Late check in was easy and the driveway was very big, which is nice through all the hills. Very simple home, but it provided everything we needed while visiting IU. View out the back is beautiful! I can’t imagine how perfect the leaves would look at peak time. Everything was just as described. Thank you! Thank you so much! Provided what we needed for the weekend visiting IU.
The house is conveniently located in close proximity to Nashville and Bloomington. The view out back is fantastic and relaxing.
Spacious house. Nice deck with a hot tub and an awesome view! We loved sitting out on the deck enjoying the peaceful view! Thanks for a great trip!
