In Bartholomew County, yet minutes away from beautiful Brown County, Indiana you will find this one of a kind find. You are close to all the bigger city amenities, yet in a tranquil country setting.
Just off of Highway 46 is a private drive shared only by the Owners of the property who may or may not be home. You will pass their home in this shared drive but then your vacation home awaits you on farther back on the property. Ever wondered what it would be like to stay in the new "barn style" homes. Now is your chance.
This pole barn has been totally redone and now half of it has been totally remodeled into this 2 BR 1BA get away.
All on main level, you enter into the foyer and you will immediately notice all the unique features of this home starting with a stained glass pass though window inside. Once entered, there is a full bath (large shower only with one step to get in) and then a very quaint and unique living room. The pictures will say it all.
In the living room is an electric fireplace, 43" smart TV with a You-tube subscription (You can use your own programming) and a very unusual wall hanging ( I will let you look at photos or see when you arrive). Just off the living room is a bunk room with bunk beds (single/single).
also off the living room is a fully equipped full kitchen. Off the kitchen is the master bedroom with a queen bed and a 36" Roku Television.
Just off of the kitchen is an all season room where you can look at the back at all that nature has to provide. Most likely will see some deer, turkey or rabbits. Heating and cooling is provided in this room of windows.
If you are adventurous, you can walk out past the firepit to the pergola at the pond. No fishing but great for resting your mind.
Let Poplar Cove be your next getaway where you go go left to Columbus and all the things a small city offers or to the right to quaint Nashville, Indiana.
Close to Brown County State Park for the horseback riding, fishing, swimming, and hiking.
A wonderful place to take the kids or, a cozy, romantic cabin for a couple, filled with all the amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES
#1 - Cancellations of a confirmed reservation must be made by the Guest who made the original reservation, not a representative of that Guest.
#2 - Reservations cancelled more than 14 days prior to the arrival incur a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total charges before tax, plus the $30 handling fee.
#3 - Reservations cancelled 8-14 days prior to arrival, you lose the deposit paid.
#4 - Reservations cancelled within 7 days of the arrival, there is NO REFUND!
#5 - When within 14 days of arrival, the reservation cannot be shortened or moved.
#6 - When within 7 days of arrival, reservations cannot be changed or altered. No exceptions.

#1 - The remaining balance will be due 7 days prior to check-in and will be automatically charged to the card on file. If you want a different charge card used for this balance, you must notify us before this balance is charged.
#2 - Refunds are not issued due to inclement weather, snow or acts of God that are out of our control.

As I'm writing this, I'm sitting in the screened in porch watching a bunny munch on grass, there's a hummingbird at the feeder having an evening snack. What an oasis you've managed to create! We've missed spending quality time time with you both and hopefully we'll do so again sometime soon.

We came for the baseball tournaments in Columbus. What a great place to stay and relax. The boys loved catching frogs and the swing set and "boy things" in the yard.
Little secluded garage turned into 2 bedroom apartment. Its cute- cant fit more than 4 individuals; so if your party is bigger- I'd pick a different location. Big yard for kids to play plus swing set. I suggest bringing bug spray for outdoor play. We didnt encounter any issues during our 3-day mini vacation. We loved that it felt secluded yet 10 mins from town. I would recommend staying here; again if party is 4 people or less (with 2 sleeping together on queen bed). 9/10 recommend!

We had a great relaxing weekend. love the cabin and how you remodeled it the pole barn. The yard was peaceful and beautiful. We used the firepit and sat by the pond. The electric fireplace is nice. Everything is just so nice, loved it. We will be back! Sunroom is such a nice spot. Ed says " you have all your ducks in a row".

Thank you for your hospitality in providing a beautiful, clean place with lots of amenities. The cabin and surrounding property is breathtaking. We hiked the pathway behind the property, enjoyed Nashville and shopped the Edinburgh outlet mall. The stay was great. The directions on getting in and the forewarning that it was close to I-65 was helpful. The three of us really enjoyed our stay and spent the majority of the time at the cabin and was very productive and fun. The Indoor/Outdoor space was wonderful and the house had everything we needed and plenty of supplies (towels, kitchenware, coffee...lots of coffee). Thanks for making this great weekend possible.
