Tucked deep into nearly 12 wooded acres bordering Yellowwood State Forest, Snuggled Inn is a handcrafted Brown County log cabin designed for guests who want privacy, comfort, and a true nature-filled escape. Custom built from solid poplar logs, this spacious cabin surrounds you with forest views, wildlife, peaceful scenery, and the quiet beauty of every season. Located conveniently between Nashville and Bloomington, Indiana, this secluded retreat is ideal for family vacations, weekend getaways, reunions, corporate retreats, or group stays in the heart of Brown County.
Inside, the cabin offers a warm blend of rustic charm and modern convenience. The open living area features vaulted ceilings, a lofted overlook, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a beautiful stone fireplace that creates a cozy gathering space after a day of exploring. The well-equipped kitchen includes newer stainless steel appliances, plenty of cabinet space, and a central island, with a separate dining area nearby for meals, games, or relaxed conversation. With four private bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, Snuggled Inn is especially well-suited for families and groups who appreciate both shared spaces and personal privacy.
The sleeping layout includes a main-level king suite with a private bath and jetted tub, an upstairs bedroom with a private bath and balcony, and two additional lower-level bedrooms with private baths and outdoor access. Two queen sleeper sofas, one in the loft and one in the living room, provide additional sleeping space for larger groups. The lower-level rec room offers another comfortable place to gather, relax, or enjoy downtime together.
Outdoor living is one of the highlights of this Brown County cabin. Expansive wraparound decks on two levels provide multiple seating areas where guests can sip coffee, watch wildlife, stargaze, or simply enjoy the peaceful wooded setting. The cabin sits approximately 3/10 of a mile off the road, offering a true tucked-away feeling while still being convenient to Nashville, Bloomington, Yellowwood State Forest, Morgan-Monroe State Forest, hiking, dining, shopping, and local attractions.
Please note that this is a self-catering cabin. Linens, towels, basic kitchenware, and utensils are provided, but guests should plan to bring personal toiletries, paper products, trash bags, charcoal, locally purchased firewood, and other supplies needed for their stay. Because this cabin is located in a wooded countryside setting, guests may encounter insects, wildlife, and weather-related conditions. Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is recommended during winter weather.
