Timeless Memories (formerly called Story Creek) is a spacious country home that's perfect for your next weekend away in the woods. Located on the south side of Brown County State Park, it's a perfect jumping off point for adventures in Brown County SP, Nebo Ridge and Hoosier National Forest. Even though it's secluded, you can find two outstanding restaurants within a 5 minute drive and it's just a 15 minute drive from the tourist town of Nashville Indiana.
Timeless Memories is big enough for two families with kids to get away for a long weekend or week long stay. Perhaps the most unique feature of this house is its gigantic kitchen. Join us for your next excursion!
This two story house has all the charm of a wonderful vacation escape and equipped with all the modern amenities of today. Bring the whole family and feel at peace knowing the house was organized with kids in mind with games for all ages, foosball table and an outdoor playground. Also a bubbling hot tub for your enjoyment has been added.
On the main level, you will find a warm, inviting, living room. The gigantic modern kitchen is wonderful for making those family meals. The dining room area is guaranteed to be the favorite gathering place with a wall of windows. This kitchen is equipped with everything you would possibly need to prepare an old fashioned country meal. Also, on the main level, you will find a bedroom with a comfortable king bed with an Amazon Firestick TV and a full bath and the Foosball table for your enjoyment.
The upstairs king size bedroom features a beautiful view of the woods behind the property (bring your binoculars to spot local birds and wildlife), and a Smart TV. The other upstairs bedroom has 4 single bunkbeds (one is a set of bunks). There is also a full bath with bathtub and a secondary living room with a Smart TV. The second living room features a reading corner with small bookshelf and kids sofa. There is also a single pull out sofa bed.
You will enjoy exploring nature at its finest, while relaxing on the back porch area. Watch deer and other wildlife while enjoying a meal at the picnic table near the fire pit.
Walk the .25 mile trail and look for the hidden humming birds along the way. Can you count how many? Please follow directional signs for the trail and do not wonder into others property. Please respect our neighbors privacy.
There is a 3 night minimum for Major Holidays and in the months of June-November.
The Owner of this cabin would like to offer a 10% discount for 3 nights. 20% for 7 nights. 30% discount for 30 days or more.

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES
#1 - Cancellations of a confirmed reservation must be made by the Guest who made the original reservation, not a representative of that Guest.
#2 - Reservations cancelled more than 14 days prior to the arrival incur a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total charges before tax, plus the $30 handling fee.
#3 - Reservations cancelled 8-14 days prior to arrival, you lose the deposit paid.
#4 - Reservations cancelled within 7 days of the arrival, there is NO REFUND!
#5 - When within 14 days of arrival, the reservation cannot be shortened or moved.
#6 - When within 7 days of arrival, reservations cannot be changed or altered. No exceptions.
Deposit Policy
RESERVATIONS
#1 - The remaining balance will be due 7 days prior to check-in and will be automatically charged to the card on file. If you want a different charge card used for this balance, you must notify us before this balance is charged.
#2 - Refunds are not issued due to inclement weather, snow or acts of God that are out of our control.

We absolutely loved our stay at Story Creek and would love to return, which tells you how happy we were. The rental process, including emails, was smooth and easily understandable.
We utilized the Troubadour (John Whitcomb) service and will hope to use again. It was wonderful to get the email about this service.
Patty was wonderful! However, I think the cleaning/lawn service needs to be better. We pulled up to tall grass, weeds that were over the walking stones up to the house (which was a fall factor). When we opened the door there was a terrible musty smell. None of the windows in the kitchen, family room, or dining room had curtains which was fine but all the windows upstairs and down were filthy dirty and needed to be cleaned to enjoy looking outside. The main floor bathroom had dust and dead bugs next to the wooden furniture that was very obvious as you were using the bathroom. The wifi password would be nice on the refrig or in the binder as we had a hard time finding it, even though it was on a board in a cubi area. It would be nice to label light switches. The firepit needs more chairs, as we had to carry the front porch chairs to the back as the 2 black wired chairs are not comfy firepit chairs. The beds were comfy, plenty of hot water, tons of room. Just need to work on a few things
This was a wonderful space in an amazing setting close to lots to do.
Patty’s place was better than expected. The layout was perfect for the number of guests. It’s private, peaceful and so close to the state park. Nashville was a short drive away and the perfect getaway!
We will definitely be back.
Great Kitchen
First, Patty was very helpful with directions, key pick up and other info. She really made it easy! The house and the property are very private and peaceful especially at night. Besides some cows mooing every once in a while, the wind and or rain is about all you will hear the majority of the time. The carport helped as we had rain throughout our stay. The rooms are spread out from each other which makes it nice when some want to sleep in while others are up and moving around. The A/C worked great, which is very important to me! The kitchen is massive, and the living room is very spacious. I feel we weren't at the house long enough to take full advantage of the great features like the kitchen (we ate out for every meal) or the walking trail that is directly behind the home. I will definitely stay there again if the opportunity comes again!!

OH MY! The kitchen. I LOVE to cook and don't always get to on my business work life so this was a treat to have this kitchen while on vacation. My family loved the meals and family times.
