Very nice place. Cast iron pan for cooking and a big stack of beautiful seasoned firewood in the garage! What more can you want!
The fireplace kept us so cozy on those so wet days!

This place is rustic, quaint, well organized, and peaceful. The trees, forest that surround the property are just breathtaking. This was a family vacation, where we could include our furry family too. Everyone had a great time, especially in the hot tub. We had everything we needed, and enjoyed our time together.

We really enjoyed our stay at the treehouse. Out of all the treehouse we have visited, this was probably our favorite.
We would like to plan a trip back in the fall sometime.
Thank you for everything!

Weekend peace and quiet that we needed. Loved being in nature! Loved the tranquility. All positive except for the hot tub. Wish we could’ve turned down the hot tub heat, it was too hot for us to stay in without being uncomfortable. Still a great getaway!

Overall we had a great mini break. This was the perfect place to see the eclipse. We didn't have to leave the property. The hot tub was great in the evening. It rained in the eve so we couldn't use the firepit but loved having the option. This is a cute comfy cabin. It is dog friendly (lost our girl before the trip) but good to know for next time! The property management company is lovely! Outside of the cabin the town of Nashville is lovely. Good food and shopping! Great hiking! And lovely antiques stores.

In short, it was great. We consider ourselves very lucky to get such a nice cabin on short notice, especially because it was dog friendly.

It was close enough to town, yet remote enough for our liking. The cabin itself was nice, well laid out for our needs, and we loved the fireplace.
The emailed information was perfect, not too much, and covered most everything we needed to know. We have worked with Hills O Brown before, and find the whole experience to be satisfying.

Would stay here again. Cabin is accurately represented in the pictures. Host is very proactive and responsive. Beautiful, cozy spot in the woods. Outdoor fire pit, indoor fireplace, large hot tub. Cabin is older, rustic, and spartan but has everything you need. It’s in the woods but is only a short 3 mile drive to town. Didn’t bother us a bit, but the last mile or so is gravel. Sleeps six, better suited for a family or two couples. We had three couples and it was fine, but upstairs you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other and from one you have to walk through the other to get to the bathroom, or go downstairs. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

If you want off the beaten path and peace and quiet; this is it; and still close to town and activities.

Response From: Hills O' Brown Vacation Rentals

We are glad you enjoyed the Tree House cabin. I know we send a lot for you to read and we can only hope you get that chance to do so. In the Welcome letter is the "check in information link" which had all our check in procedures and a great list of what was provided and what to bring. We will certainly mention to that owner that you did not find a hair dryer. They may not realize that something happened to the one that had been there, and suggest hooks for towels? We do not supply wood for the firepits( also on the list) and we will not have wood for the fireplaces until October.
We try to explain as best we can that we are not the typical Airbnb since we manage over 109 cabins in this area and we do start each cabin with both toilet paper in each bathroom and paper towel in the kitchen we cannot leave any extra paper products in the homes. We do thank you for staying and hope you will come back again.

The stay at the Tree House cabin was great.
The cabin and the setting was awesome.
Also the proximity to the Nashville shops and restaurants was a bonus. We will try again sometime.

We really did not spend a lot of time at cabin as our daughter graduated from IU. It served its purpose for our family but would have loved to have spent more time in the cabin!

The cabin was in a very secluded area with a great view, but the roads the last mile to the cabin are all gravel and very narrow. The rooms are a little smaller than expected. All of the amenities listed were available plus extra firewood for the living room fireplace and outdoor fire pit.

10 Star location. It is secluded and surrounded by woods. Perfect getaway to unwind. The location has a fire pit and I would recommend bringing fire starting supplies.

If you wake up to an old black and white dog hanging out on the porch, give him some love from us. He’s a sweetie!
