Upon arrival, you will notice a restful feeling as you drink in nature’s bounty, walking down the path to the front door. Entering the first floor, you will find a cozy living room with a Rumford wood burning fire place, made of Brown County stone. Snuggle up by the fire and watch a movie or just admire the large hand hewn log walls and beams around you.

Off the living room is a large, fully screened, covered porch. What a great place to gather to visit with your loved one. Notice the birds in the nearby trees, who don’t even realize you are right there.

The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. Providing plenty of prep. space on the beautiful oak counter tops. The adjacent dining room has an oak farm table. Maybe you would like to dine by candlelight? Our handmade tin chandelier is equipped with realistic candles, no matches needed.

Follow the stairs to the second floor complete with vaulted ceilings, log beams and skylights in every room. The spacious master bedroom offers a king sized bed, comfy loveseat and antique dressers. Adjacent is a roomy full bath.

Heading downstairs, to the game room, Play a game of pool or head out the back door to the deck.

Dine out on the partially covered deck with charcoal grill and hot tub, overlooking the pond and surrounding woods. At dawn and dusk you may catch a glimpse or more of the deer playing in the edge of the pond- a now daily occurrence.

Thank you for the use of your lovely cabin. My husband and I had a quick little getaway to celebrate our anniversary. We enjoyed our time by the fire, sitting out on the back porch, watching and listening to the birds and star gazing from the hot tub. Your cabin was a great retreat from the hustle and bustle of this time of year and our unsettled world. Blessings and peace to you for this NEW YEAR.

My husband and I had an amazing time here! We will have to bring our family back to visit. Cutest cabin ever. Loved the fire place, pool table, and the hot tub. Definitely a place to make memories, a great get away from the crazy hustle and bustle.

Wildflower Ridge log cabin was exactly as described/pictured on the website. Super cozy and secluded! Very close to Brown County State Park and downtown Nashville, so local exploration was convenient. The only minor “complaints” I have is the lack of lighting and the bathroom designed for very short people. There are mostly lamps and not much overhead lighting. The bathroom is not accommodating for a tall person. I am 5’9 and stood at least an entire head above the bathroom mirror. The only lighting in the bathroom is the 3 vanity lights above the sink, so you’re pretty much showering in the dark. I’d suggest raising the mirror and adding some type of overhead light above the shower. And if you’re a person who gets cold easily, bring your own extra blankets as there is only one thin quilt on the bed. Overall we had a great experience and look forward to coming back!

This is our second time at the Wildflower Ridge this year. I am a nurse and my husband is a business man. I am lucky in that I work from home for an insurance company. We had planned this trip after we got home from last trip. We felt the two of us could be safe and brought food and stayed in the cabin. It was such a nice break from the world! We plan to come back soon.

Absolutely gorgeous! Squirrels, cardinals, deer. We watched deer at front of house, and around the side. Hot tub was fabulous! While in hoy tub watched deer with her new baby. Such a peaceful, beautiful place to relax and unwind. Going home with a new positive outlook on life. Thank you.

Beautiful cabin and property! We enjoyed getting away from it all!

Including not having internet…seriously it was just the extra nudge I needed to not try to work ?

The place was definitely peaceful and nice inside. A few drawbacks were the deadbolt lock was not working well broke inside or something. The front door also had a window with no blind for privacy at night a little creepy in the middle of no where we ended putting a blanket over it. The hot tub was set on 97 degrees we put it on 102 for a while and the temperature didn’t change it was barely warm on used it one not was not impressed was counting on that? basement was freezing no heat to play pool. The couch in the master bedroom looked like something you would see on the side of the road bad shape. The first night we had to watch for wasps I killed 6 of them crawling on the floor 2 in the bedroom and 4 in the living room. Although the cabin was nice and the surroundings, the fireplace was great I would not stay there again, for the money would stay somewhere else. I did have a good time in brown county just wish the cabin experience was better.

Beautiful cabin amid all the beauty that is Brown County. We were in town for our daughter’s graduation from Indiana University so didn’t spend as much time enjoying the cabin as we would have liked to. Prices were definitely higher because of graduation and limited availability of places to stay. We would like to come back when we have more time to explore

Response From: Hills O' Brown Vacation Rentals

This cabin is always just a 1 bdrm, 2 guest home. But we have over 107 cabins in the area so call our office and we can help find one you may like as well.

Over all the stay was nice. The only thing that didn’t sit right with me was that the listing says “Entire Cabin” yet there are two entire locked off areas. One room upstairs fully locked up, and an entire two floor area of the home, labeled as “Private” on the doors.

After such a busy couple of months, this stay was just what we needed. It was one of the most peaceful stays we've ever had. The surroundings were so beautiful, even after the first snowfall of the season. The communication was great and check in went very smoothly. We're definitely looking forward to returning back and staying here.

quiet location, 1 bedroom 1 bath. no first floor bathrooms. we enjoyed our stay. some of the items mentioned in the information when we checked in, did not seem to exist. Such as information on cleaning the first floor claw foot tub? But overall, we had a nice relaxing time and would consider it again. Be sure to read carefully what you need to bring, as they do not provide anything other than 1 trash bag.

This place is perfect if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. The cabin was cozy. Having a fire every night just enhanced our stay all the more and they also provided the firewood. We enjoyed the privacy and the beautiful property. The hot tub was a bonus for extra relaxation. The cabin was also very clean. We look forward to returning to this cabin and will be booking a longer stay next time.

The cabin is very quiet and completely private in the back. You cannot see any neighbors. The sounds around the cabin are mainly birds and frogs.
We really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub at night and watching the stars through the trees.
The screened in porch in the back was also a nice place to relax and appreciate the tall trees all around the cabin.
