The actual cabin was amazing the scenery was beautiful. Definitely remote and secluded WiFi did work not a problem for us. A little tricky to find at dark but it was very peaceful. We loved the visits from Opal the dog next store to us.

Girls Weekend
This was a much needed girls weekend getaway and the place was perfect, we had the BEST time! If it was hanging out at the house playing games or going into town for the day, it was filled with lots of laughs and memories made by all! Enough beds for everyone and COMFY at that. Just so other renters are aware there is no internet service but it was nice to unplug for the weekend. Thank you for sharing your home, I’m sure we will be back!

Cabin was beautiful. Unfortunately we never got the hot tub to warm up over 73 degrees and had multiple outlets that didn’t work

Response From: Hills O' Brown Vacation Rentals

We hope you were able to enjoy the rest of what that cabin had to offer. We are very sorry your hot tub was not heating. We would have sent our hot tub maintenance person out to the cabin to fix the issue had you called either our office or the after hours phone(number provided in the cabins information binder) and we might have even been able to locate a GFI that was causing outlets not to work. We do want our guest to be able to enjoy their stay and all that the cabins have to offer. Thank you and we do hope you will come back and stay with us again soon.

Cliff creek was an amazing cabin. The total layout was great. The Family as a whole felt it was our favorite one yet, planning on returning next summer. We felt it had so much to offer, and ton of extras that some cabins dont offer. Please let the owners know they did good. The things we would add is if we stay longer next summer and we will, thinking more than a week , we would really like to have access to a washer and dryer. The other thing is the trash , having one trash can, and no good spot to put garbage. But the experience was wonderful and we love that spread!

Warning: There are no bedrooms on the second floor! It is an open loft, with 2 queen beds on one side of the bathroom, and another queen bed on the other side. The beds are nice, and the place is beautiful. But we needed a room with 2 beds for a family so that the parents could put the kids to sleep and close the door. Also, pay attention that this is a remote location without wifi.

We did enjoy the size and layout of the kitchen and spaces to hang out for large groups. The porch was ridiculously large, but the main entry porch was spacious with lots of nice seating. There was a field for the kids to play games nearby. The place is 30 minutes out of town, which nice for privacy but make sure to be well supplied.

However, we were so disappointed in the lack of privacy in the upstairs bedrooms, that we also wanted to warn future guests about: cobwebs and dead spiders, couches that were so dusty that dust plumed up when you sat on them, corners needed to be swept, malfunctioning and shorting out lights in the kitchen, poor lighting outside under the porch, hot tub jets malfunctioning, porch railing behind the hot tub was deteriorating and loose, tilted out and looked ready to fall off.

Nice cabin, larger than I thought it would be, the outside deck has space for whatever probably 2-3000 sq feet of deck space.
Cool property.

Great spot in the middle of nowhere. I thought the no wi-fi wouldn’t be a big deal, but it was. The house was bigger than I thought and the hot tub was smaller than I thought. Checkout was a chore but had enough people to help out. Overall a really good time.

The cabin was a perfect size for our group of nine adults. We were all able to spread out and it never felt too crowded. It was very clean both inside and outside and we enjoyed the firepit and the general location of the cabin. A great place to go if you want to "unplug" as there was no WiFi and cell service was very spotty. The kitchen setup was great and our group often gathered around the kitchen island because it was big enough for us all to crowd around! Side note to future travelers to bring napkins/paper towels for your stay as none are provided. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was wonderful! Cabin was clean and loved how it was decorated. Beautiful quiet landscape, exactly what we all needed to spend some quality family time together!
If I had to say anything negative, we thought the upstairs bedrooms had doors so were mislead by the photos but maybe it was mentioned in the description and I missed it. It really wasnt an issue though.
I'd love to know where the owner bought the decorative ball (macrame) hanging by the fireplace. Is there any way to find that out? I've looked and looked online and am not seeing anything like it. Wondering if its from a Nashville shop.

Thanks again!!
