The cabin was beautiful, very neat and tidy. It was a great location and the surroundings were beautiful too. There were a lot of deer at the cabin and when we traveled to town which was nice to see. Both the location and the cabin were very relaxing even though some of the rooms were a bit smaller and harder to get around in but it was everything we needed and we would definitely stay again.

Place was nice. However the cabin was not clean upon arrival. Had to request cleaning service of which they did get someone out there over an hour later

Me, my son, and his friends did The Tough Mudder that weekend. This place was perfect. After the event, we got to hang out, grill out and relax. This was the last weekend I got to hang out with my son before he went back to school. A great experience. Thank you!

Beautiful cabin and amazing customer service!!

Great, small cabin on a larger lot away from the hustle and bustle for a girls weekend trip. Perfect for what we needed. Loved the detailed directions prior to arrival. Didn’t use the hot tub but enjoyed having it available to us. Do wish the ladder for the top bunk was a little stable, as it wiggled a little when I got on the first step the first night. And the room with the bunk bed is a little small, but workable, also wish the lighting in this room was better. Overall though a great experience and would stay with this company again.

Such an amazing property! The nature and beauty surrounding the cabin is what makes this place magical. We saw deer and geese wandering around often. The bedrooms are a great size and the place was very clean and cozy! One of my favorite places by far! The staff at the office, especially Tammy & Julie went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable! By far the BEST & friendliest management company I’ve ever experienced!

My oldest grandson's wedding was at The Barn at Heritage House on June 7. And we enjoyed our stay at the Gimme A Break log cabin so much. Me (Javene) and my grown children (both in their 50's) daughter Sheila and son Larry loved it. It was very convenient especially after my son realized we were just on the outskirts of Nashville and we didn't have to take the long route back to hwy 46. That was the big laugh of our visit. My husband has recently passed and this was our first trip together. We couldn't have asked for a better trip and stay.

The cabin was clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. My daughter and I enjoyed the hot tub. That was my first experience in a hot tub.
If we ever come back to that area we will definitely stay there again. By the way, the new coffee pot was fabulous.

Perfect little house in the woods away from the crowds of Bloomington. Well equipped kitchen for making meals and entertaining. Backyard is fun with the games and fire pit. Hot tub was immaculate. Front porch has a lovely view of the lake.

It was a great place for our book club getaway. The home was close enough to Nashville to be downtown in less than 10 minutes but offered the peace and quiet we were looking for at night. Would book with the company again!

It was a lovely stay! The only thing we had a problem with was the stove and they jumped right on it! Great service! Even though we only heated water for tea I was very impressed on how well the kitchen was stocked. It was a wonderful time.

Great getaway!
We enjoyed our stay immensely. The beautiful property is nestled by itself with scenic surroundings yet close enough to all the interesting activities of Nashville.

Girls weekend
Cabin was clean, and just as described online. House well equipped with more than the standard rental. We had a small issue with the fireplace starting, made a call to the check in office and they were there to fix within 30 mins. Great service! Hot tub was clean & working. Wonderful place to stay.

We loved the cabin especially the deer that came up in the yard it was very nice and quiet thank you for a great 4 day stay

Great location for doing things in Bloomington and Nashville. The hot tub is on a screened in porch which is fabulous. Lots of games and seating for your group. Very much enjoyed our stay!

I wanted to thank you again for accommodating my request to reschedule from February to June. The cabin was great! Everything we needed and more! We will likely stay at Gimme a Break again and will always use Hills O’Brown! 5 stars for service and delivery!

We really thought that the communication and instructions were excellent from signing up until check-in! The location was very nice and peaceful! We enjoyed our mornings out front overlooking the lake across the road. We also enjoyed seeing the deer! We did not actually spend a great deal of time there outside of sleeping since we were busy visiting the area and family nearby, but the the cabin had what we needed for a nice stay!

Loved our time at the cabin! Very cozy and felt right at home. Wish the master bath window was frosted to offer some privacy and the floor around the shower feels like it’s falling in. Would still stay here again.

Email stated could not get in early. Absolutely not before 1 and they could call once “cleaners” were done. Desk person said they didn’t make those calls. Also the place to pick up keys was so congested with others picking up at 4. Hair ball in shower, cob webs and dirt behind a basket that held towels! Stated that we pay for it to be cleaned but we still cleaned before we left and then an envelope for extra tip to cleaners? Otherwise the place was super cute and beautiful place in Oct

Just a note that we enjoyed the cabin, location and amenities. It was a great place to stay while we attended Uncle Pen in Bean Blossom. Everything was clean and well appointed. The notifications prior to check in were appreciated and I wouldn't recommend any changes to that process'

We have a great weekend stay in your “gimme a break” cabin. Everything was as we expected. We did use the hot tub and were pleased at the size of it. The emails that you sent were definitely a help to us as to what we needed to bring. We would definitely return to this cabin, use your company again and also recommend it to others.

Was wonderful actually. Very clean and enjoyable. Was our second time in this cabin and will come back to this place yearly in May. We come to enjoy the quiet and hot tub. Coming back in July with daughter and 2 preteens to stay in different cabin, but us two old ladies will be back next May. Thanks Again!

This is a great cottage in a peaceful area. Easy access to downtown. Great amenities and very comfortable beds/ furnature. A/C did not work first day (and the "book" says they will take care of things until 8pm, after that would be next day). It got hot enough we called at 11pm just to be "]on record" or first in line for next day. Maintenance ended up coming, but he was super upset and a little mean to us about having to come, and ultimately couldn't fix it. We had to call to ask for fans (they offered no ideas or help proactively). Again, mainenance was not excited about providing, but did bring us a few. It was around 80 degrees inside all evening/night. A professional A/C tech got there at 10:30am next day and had it fixed in 15 minutes. Not a word mentioned about anything for our inconvenience or lack of A/C. In my opinion, I should not ever be made to feel like an imposition because something in a unit I'm PAYING to rent, does not work when it should.

Perfect place for a dude's getaway!

Our stay at Gimme a Break was much needed and amazing. Great spot not far from the main attractions in Brown County. We were tucked away for privacy, but yet close enough to get anywhere within 10 minutes. Loved how spacious the cabin was and that we all had enough room to cook, play board games on the table, and sleep comfortably. The deer greeted us every morning in the back yard and that was very cool. Thank you for a great weekend getaway for my twin and I's family we look forward to utilizing you all again in the future, maybe for a girls only trip with all of our sisters.

We came for a little girls get away! It was perfect! The kitchen had EVERYTHING!! Everyone loved it! I do wish there was more outside seating, but bring your own bag chair and it’s perfect! Any questions or concerns I had Patty was very quick to get back to me!

Nice and quiet.

Great stay! The kids had fun playing with the foosball table and roasting s'mores. The kitchen was so well stocked. We loved the decor and the comfy beds.
