We loved the quiet here! We cooked, hiked and worked hard on puzzles. Love to come back.

My sisters and I had such a wonderful time staying at Ginleys Gulch, the home of my childhood best friend. We loved sitting around the fires (both indoors and out) reminiscing about past experiences like slumber parties, horseback riding and hiking through the woods. An added bonus was running into our former classmates. We hope in the future guests find their stay her as pleasurable as we have. We will be back.

A great family girls weekend! Such a beautiful place!

My sisters and I had such a wonderful time staying at Ginley's Gulch, the home of my childhood bet friend. We loved sitting around the fires(both indoor and out) reminiscing about past experiences like slumber parties, horseback riding, and hiking through the woods. We also enjoyed walking down the streets of NASHVILLE, our former beloved home town. An added bonus was running into our former classmates, many of whom have chosen to remain in the small town we love so much. And now as we enjoy our final day in this beautiful cabin, we built a rip roaring fire after enjoying looking for geodes in Owl Creek, driving through beautiful Brown County State Park, and exploring Abe Matin Lodge. We hope future guest find their stay as pleasurable as we have. We will be ack!

We had a wonderful time on our fall break. The house was great for our family- our dog Max loved being outside. Nice location, close to everything. Beautiful house with plenty of room. Used hot tub and fire pit is a nice addition. All was wonderful.

8 of us rented the house for a sibling vacation. It was wonderful! 4 couples were able to sit and enjoy meals at the table together, sit in living room together. It was so very nice! And affordable! The twin beds were a little uncomfortable. We let Hills O' Brown know and they sent 2 mattress pads right out. We enjoyed this lovely setting and maybe would come back!

It's really nice and peaceful. I lone it. My mom is 76 yrs old and she told me she wishes she could live here. Love the nature, and the comfort of the home. The owners are very much blessed. Thank you for sharing your home with us!! May God be with you in your heart always. Some of us have traveled from Atlanta ,GA, Interlachen Fl, and Miami Fl. This is an amazing property.

Ginley's Gulch was a very nice family cabin with a large outside nicely groomed area surrounding it. The spacious cabin is great for a large family gathering.

We had a wonderful time on our recent girls trip to this Brown County cabin! The space was clean and spacious for a relaxing getaway. All the listed amenities, except for some hiccups with the AC, were available and in good condition. It was a great setting to unwind and reconnect with friends.
That said, we did experience a few safety concerns that impacted our overall rating. On our first night while making dinner, the toaster unexpectedly caught fire. While we were able to locate a fire extinguisher and safely put out the fire, we were concerned to find that the extinguisher had not been serviced since 2012. Even more alarming, every smoke alarm in the cabin had dead batteries and failed to activate during the incident. Thankfully, no serious damage occurred, everyone was safe, and we were still able to enjoy the rest of our stay.
Although we had a wonderful time, these safety concerns make me reluctant to stay again in the future and I felt it was important to share our experience.

Our ladies from English Baptist Church ( Carrollton, KY) had a great retreat at Ginley’s Gulch. The process was smooth and the house was lovely. The directions were easy to follow and we
may come again in the future. Thank you for all your help ??

3-generation family outing. Very enjoyable trip. The cabin was as advertised. The grandkids really enjoyed the big yard for playing baseball catch, creek for exploring and hot tub for relaxing. Enjoyed our outings to Lake Monroe, downtown Nashville and Hard Truth distillery as well.

Wonderful location and had a great time. Would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - and would gladly stay again - it was large enough to accommodate our group. The set up of the living room and kitchen was nice for everyone to gather together. We also enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub.

My only critiques are: the photos show a couch in a bedroom, it is not there. The hosts expect the renters to provide their own toilet paper and garbage bags. It is dated, the pillows specifically could be refreshed. Having to check in and out at a separate location is not as convenient as most airbnb experiences where you are provided a lock code or digital key.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. We especially loved the screened-in porch, bonfire pit and big yard for the kids to run around in! We "hiked" the creek bed and cute grassy trail, perfect for the little kids. Overall, we had a wonderful family getaway weekend.

The layout, location, and amenities at Ginley’s Gulch were exactly what our family was looking for. The layout allowed for great meals together, hanging out on the couches, screen porch or fire pit- so many options! It was a short distance from the heart of Nashville, making it so easy to shop or get ice cream. It would be a great place to host Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any gathering- every pot, pan, appliance, or utensil I could have wanted was provided. There were plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. Finally, the place was spotless. The cleaners really did a great job in such a large house! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at Ginley’s Gulch again.

It was an absolutely beautiful spot and the house itself was stunning. It’s definitely somewhere I’d want to stay again when traveling to Brown County!

Amazing time, amazing house. Bathrooms were very clean, peaceful area. Overall a great experience!

we loved the stay! the house was beautiful and spacious with lovely walking trails and a yard to play catch in. the pool table was a bit run down, but we still had so much fun playing amongst ourselves. the cabin was very clean with ample blankets, pillows, and towels. we loved it and would stay again! the only downfall was having to go to an office for our key for check in and to drop the key off at check out. upon check in the front desk lady lectured me to respect the furniture presumably due to being on the younger side. I found this to be a bit offensive as I take great pride in respecting the places I stay in. other than this, we loved the place and would absolutely stay again!

The five adults and four kids in our family group enjoyed a relaxing and fun weekend in the cabin at Ginley’s Gulch, hot-tubing, exploring, grilling, eating, playing billiards, talking, eating, laughing and enjoying each other’s company in this spacious cabin in the woods. When we make our next trip to Brown County we will make sure to stay here again!

Large space, great property! Lots of ‘rules’ that past properties haven’t asked with checkout- lots of extra cleaning steps asked of guests.

Cabin worked great for our group. It was clean and we enjoyed the screened in porch. There is quite a bit of property to explore including an on site creek. Cabin is also very close to downtown Nashville which is full of cute little shops and restaurants.
