Heartstone Log Cabin | Hot Tub • Mountain Views

We came in June for our daughters Birthday and Fathers Day. At that time our kids said.." Lets rent the cabin for Christmas". So glad we did! The cabin was decorated so awesome for Christmas. Our Christmas was great. Weather was warm, so we had a good time hiking and sitting by the fire. We thank you for another amazing time- We love your cabin- we will be back!

We actually didn't stay at "Heartstone Log Cabin". Two days before our arrive, the heat in that home went out. Since the temperatures were going to be in the low 20's, we were offered the home called "Lonesome Oak". Initially we were disappointed because we really had our heart set on a log cabin, but one look at Lonesome Oak and all disappointment faded away.

The home is absolutely beautiful. It's set on a large pond/small lake, in a private wooded area, and still close to downtown Nashville. We appreciated the split bedrooms with one couple being able to stay upstairs, one on the main living floor, and one in the downstairs area. Our adult children enjoyed the hot tub and the game room. I enjoyed the well-appointed kitchen, which had almost every gadget and utensil known to man. We also appreciate the laundry room!

We would definitely stay at Lonesome Oak again! The view alone is worth the stay!

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful cabin with our family. This is our 5th yr. our family has taken a cabin trip together and everyone remarked that this is by far the most warm and inviting cabin we have stayed. There are so many small details that really make it feel like home. We had a fantastic time together thank s to all the games and entertainment options. Even Grandma enjoyed Wii bowling and pop a shot. We also enjoyed the fall decorations. Thanks again!

AJ had fun, played pool and liked the hot tub, Dezi, favorite part was the hot tub, playing pool and air hockey, Abigail had so much fun, betty had a great time. Loved the Fall decorations and the homey touches. Alec proposed to Tyler and we celebrated by watching the "Goonies" in the hot tub. Pat had a great time, and also Sandy loved the hot tub. We loved our stay! It's remote but close to town. The WIFI is an amazing amenity, the wii was super fun. We had a fire, enjoyed the hot tub, played a ton in the game room. Was perfect for our family and our annual family reunion, and hope to return! Thank you to the cleaning crew for maintaining this wonderful space!

I loved the hot tub and my big bed(Rosie) First time staying at Heartstone but won't be our last. The cabin was perfect for our family of 6 and 2 dogs. Views, games, kitchen with everything, close to town and activities, but far enough away to feel remote.

This was a beautiful place to meet with family for vacation. The cabin had everything we needed. The decks on all three levels allowed us to enjoy being outside as often as we wanted. We were staying in the cabin with 2 other couples. Having a bathroom and bedroom on each level gave us all the privacy we needed but we could still be together when we wanted. We made great use of the game room, hot tub, and fire pit. The restaurants and shops in Nashville were an added bonus but not necessary for having a great vacation. We could have stayed at the cabin the whole time and had plenty of fun and relaxation to fill our days. We hope to visit Heartstone again!

Our family enjoyed our weekend stay-cation here! We're from different locations in Indiana and this was the perfect cozy meeting spot for our family to reunite. We enjoyed dinner by the fire and games downstairs! Thanks!

I Love all the attention to details. Thank you for the labels and notes, it saved me sometimes. I especially loved it because things in my house are labeled. What a perfect way to vacation with everything in place!! It is all perfect. I am enjoying watching the stars from the upstairs balcony, hoping to see some meteors. The view , the deck is just perfect. Cabin layout is nice. It is just the two of us, Celebrating our anniversary and B-day combined vacation. Love Brown County and loved the cabin.

This being our 5th stay at the Hearthstone Cabin in the last 6 years, it was our best stay yet. The amenities provided were so ample that it made the stay even more wonderful. We truly enjoy seeing all the awesome upgrades the owners made since our last stay. The weather was a little rainy this year, but the shelter did not let the firepit time be ruined by the storms.
The Hearthstone is the perfect getaway, especially for 3 couples celebrating their anniversaries. We can’t wait to stay again.

We had a lovely time. My son graduated from IU Maurer. I brought my 85 year old mother and other family members. The cabin was lovely. It was exactly as described. Highly recommend.

Thanks for reaching out. Although it rained the entire time we were there, we couldn't have asked for a finer place to be together. The cabin is beyond belief, right down to the excellent toilet tissue provided for us.
Hills O'Brown rentals was a pleasure to deal with. The amount of correspondence was just right. We are already making plans to cone back next year when we can enjoy shopping downtown, visit the state park and take our guys out to breakfast in Story.

Every year about this time for the last 20 plus years we have been coming to Brown County. We rent a different cabin everytime and I have to sat that this is one of the nicest ones we have stayed in. We love to go down town, eat out, shop, walk ect, but half our adventure is staying at different cabins. We enjoyed the game room, the different decks,hot tub,firepit. The bedrooms were comfortable,the kitchen has everything we needed and the livingroom was relaxing.

We did a weekend getaway with friends. 6 adults. Plenty of space with the 3 beds/baths. We used the outdoor space all weekend. Wonderful weekend and we will book again!

Good morning!!! I wanted to let y’all know what a wonderful time we had this past weekend at the Hearthstone Cabin. It was our 4th year out of the last 5 we have stayed there and we’re all in consensus that this was the best year. The place was immaculate when we arrived to the clean smell and fresh flowers. The upgrades to the cabin were thoughtful and greatly appreciated. The basement level with the game system and new basketball game provided many hours of entertainment. We spent the majority of our time huddled around the Fire pit and under the pavilion as the weather was the best we have yet in 5 years. Warm days and cool evenings were perfect. It was an amazing weekend of making memories with family. As you can see in your records, we have already reserved for 2025. Can’t wait to see what that stay brings. Thanks again to you and the owners for providing such a wonderful place.

We really enjoyed our Stay! Love the fact there is a bathroom for every bedroom! The hot tub with TV is so fun as well. We spent 2 evenings in there. Also, loved how the cabin was decorated for Christmas! We really hope to come back again about this time next year! 🙂

This was our third stay at the Heartstone Cabin. The Heartstone Cabin is the best cabin we have stayed at by far. The cabin is clean and very welcoming. The owners make sure to provide everything that is needed to make their cabin feel like home. The owners keep making great improvements on the cabin to ensure their guests have a wonderful stay. The addition of the gazebo and the supply of firewood for the firepit is very much appreciated.
We will definitely be staying at the Heartstone Cabin on our next visit to Brown County. Thanks for making our visit great!

We enjoyed everything about the cabin. It's very quiet with a great view of the rolling hills from every level in the back. It's very well maintained and was very clean. The dried firewood was a nice touch for a small fire at night. You don't normally find that with most cabins. The metal ceiling over the deck at the bottom level was a perfect hang out during the thunder showers. We really enjoyed that evening together as a family.
We would rate it a solid 5 in all categories.

Everything was great as usual. We are the family that had snowballs last year and the maintenance man got involved in the fight. This year we had 110. It was so much fun. The basement was full of white fluffy balls.
We are still deciding on what cabin we need for next year. But it will definitely be booked through you.

What a fun place to stay. We stayed here during parents weekend for our kids that go to Indiana University. It was about a 35 minute drive from there. The basement it was perfect for the kids to be able to hang out, play games, and go hot tubbing. The adults enjoy the fire outside. Everything was spacious and clean. Would recommend staying here again. The setting is beautiful!

Lovely cabin! We had rain for most of our stay, which sounded so relaxing with the metal roof. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances, and the cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Hope to stay again!

We loved the cabin! We have stayed at several of your cabins and you can tell this owner takes pride in their home. They provided several things that don't have to be. Qtips, kleenex, toilet paper. Trash bags, dishwasher tabs etc. It was nice. The games in the basement were a big hit with the family. Your office called Saturday morning to make sure we're all OK after the storms. That was appreciated. When our water heater stopped working you had someone there right away to work on it. We love the communications that you send. Keep them coming.
