THIS UNIT IS PROFESSIONALLY MANAGED BY HILLS O' BROWN VACATION RENTALS. Dog friendly, up to 30lbs, $75 non-refundable fee per dog

This delightfully cozy two bedroom (4-person) historic log cabin is just a “hop, skip and jump” from downtown Nashville, yet has a private setting perched high on a 2-acre wooded lot overlooking a creek. Both the huge front deck and the back hot tub deck provide tree house like views. The owner’s joy of antiques and fun “quirky uniques” shows through in this beautifully decorated cabin that was totally renovated in winter 2016.

Both the main floor and upstairs bedrooms have queen beds and on suite bathrooms. The kitchen and dining room features rustic beams and opens up to the living room with a fireplace (gas logs) and a large bank of windows providing lots of sunlight and wonderful views.

The location is extra special in that it is only one mile out of town and two miles from the Brown County Music Center.

You’ll be part of nature in the private setting which is perched on a small bluff overlooking a babbling creek. The two decks take full advantage of this beautiful setting.

The back deck’s hot tub provides a relaxing setting to soak up the views. There is a grill off the back patio and a camp fire pit for sharing stories and creating new Brown County memories

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES
- Cancellations of a confirmed reservation must be made by the Guest who made the original reservation, not a representative of that Guest.
- Reservations cancelled more than 14 days prior to the arrival incur a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total charges before tax, plus the $30 handling fee.
- Reservations cancelled 8-14 days prior to arrival, you lose the deposit paid as per “Reservations section (b)” above
- Reservations cancelled within 7 days of the arrival, there is NO REFUND!
- When within 14 days of arrival, the reservation cannot be shortened or moved.
- When within 7 days of arrival, reservations cannot be changed or altered. No exceptions.

#1 - The remaining balance will be due 7 days prior to check-in and will be automatically charged to the card on file. If you want a different charge card used for this balance, please notify us before this balance is charged.
#2 - Refunds are not issued due to inclement weather, snow or acts of God that are out of our control.

We love this place. It is our 4th year staying here for the Chocolate Walk. We have two daughters that have grown up coming every year. This is something we look forward to all year. The updates were all great. We loved the TV being mounted, new furniture, updates to the bathroom, etc. There is no place better than the back porch to enjoy a cup of coffee and unplug. We have a lake lake house on lake Wawasee where we spend the summer and enjoy the pace of Brown County in the fall. Hop, Skip and Jump you hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for the ornament.

Hop, Skip and Jump was wonderful. So clean and well decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Convenient and everything we needed. Loved the shops in Nashville. Took a trip to Columbus- Zaharakos Ice Cream is a must see. A very much needed quiet rest away from home.

Hop, Skip and Jump is a very peaceful place. It was very clean. We came for 2 nights to celebrate my wife's Birthday. Very well decorated. We enjoyed the hot tub, lunch on the back porch and the fire pit. We went hiking in the state forest. The only thing that was a little off was the length of stay, too short. Next time we will stay for at least a week. That might even be too short to enjoy all this cabin and area has to offer.

We came as a family of 4 to HOP, Skip, and Jump and it did not disappoint. The cabin hospitality was exactly what we needed to get away from our busy lives. The last night here we spent most of it around the firepit talking and telling stories. Our kids will never forget those memories. This is a wonderful get away to re-energize.

We have been coming ton Brown County since 1979. I loved this place from the beginning. My husband and I met in 1980 and have been coming here with him since. We tried almost all the cabins @HOBVR Hop, Skip and jump is one of the best that we have stayed at. We cane to celebrate Christmas, our Anniversary and New Years. Very relaxing time especially for us, life has been a little hectic lately. Thanks for a great time.
