We were in town for a wedding in the state park. This house was extremely convenient to the cute little town of Nashville as well as the venue & where the rest of our family was staying. It created a great place with lots of comfortable seating for the family to come and visit us, as it it difficult for my grandma to get around and it's better for people to come to her. This was great for that!

We did book this because of the ADA accessibility, and while it was functional, I do think it's important to note that some of the doorframes and walkways were a little tight for wheelchairs and/or walkers in the first floor bedroom & bathroom. We managed just fine, but something to consider if this is a factor in booking!

We lost power the day of checkout due to a massive hail storm that quickly rolled in, but the management team was willing to give us a little extra time getting out given the circumstances, which was very helpful.

All in all - this was a great stay and I'd visit again!!

Great place! Somewhat of an annoyance to need to go to another central office 20 mins outside of town, but overall a great stay with excellent communication.

We enjoyed time in the hot tub, around the fire-pit, and relaxing on the covered porch. Great location so close to downtown. Home is cozy and relaxing. We love staying at the Log Inn and have already booked our next trip to stay there while in Brown County.

We had a great weekend at the cabin. Accurately described. Fully stocked kitchen. The indoor hot tub was a hit and the cabin did not feel humid or muggy because of it. Would stay again.

My family has rented this cabin over the years. I spent my childhood Christmases coming here so it was very nostalgic coming back. Location is fantastic. About a 2 minute drive to downtown Nashville. So many memories have been made in this house! Our party was a little disappointed because a couple of the sheets/beds were not clean, we found some old food (popcorn) and stains in the sheets. As well as a few dead lady bugs. The hot tub had black mold on the cover and the water was low and had a yellow tint. In addition, the jet was strong and sprayed outside the tub and the stream hit the window. I have a video if needed for reference. None of us felt comfortable getting in the hot tub, which was disappointing. This is the same hot tub from when I was a kid (I'm 31 now). We have pictures in this hot tub back then!

We still had a great time but there were a few cleanliness issues and not being able to utilize the hot tub, which we were looking forward to for a spa night!

This place was so nice to stay at. Spacious but still felt cozy. Everything was clean and nice, you don’t even have to leave the house if you don’t want to! I don’t have any complaints. The only unclear part was on what we were to bring. I was told you bring my own toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags but when we arrived those things were very clearly provided for us. They did not appear to be something that was left behind from previous people staying. The location is perfect for walking around Nashville and visiting Hard Truth. Everywhere we went was 5 minutes from the house but we were still so secluded.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Log Inn. The cabin is supplied with everything needed to make yourself at home and everything was clean. Only a few things we would recommend would be If you are going to charge $130 cleaning fee, don’t leave a long list of requirements for guests to complete before checking out. Some things required of guests would be to scoop out any Ashes from the fireplace into the bucket provided, Not only have all dishes washed, which I would normally do anyway, but to have them dried and put away. I spent so much time cleaning on checkout day that I didn’t get an opportunity to actually enjoy the last few hours. It is also required of guests to strip their beds and place at the foot of the bed As well as remove pillowcases. All towels are to be stacked in either a shower or tub which is something I would do anyway so that was not an issue. Firewood is not included with your stay. It would have been nice, but that was definitely not a dealbreaker as there were so many things we really loved about the cabin that outweighed the lack of firewood. The thing I had the biggest issue over was the primary bedroom had a mattress that was hard as a rock. It was an older version of the sleep number bed. It comes with a remote control that lets air out or you can fill it up to make it thicker. The less air you have the more you feel the hardboard or platform underneath the mattress. The more you feel the mattress with air, the more you feel like you’re sleeping on an innertube. I would have rather slept on a bed of nails. Two days later, and my whole body still aches from the two nights of torture. I really wanted to get into the awesome hot tub, the day of check out, but I was too busy cleaning and following the instructions left for me to complete otherwise be charged additional fees for not meeting their requirements. Over, despite the love-hate relationship, I would definitely choose to come back but would do things differently, such as make sure , I had agreements with all other that they would be staying each night so that we’re all cleaning on the last day and I would make sure to bring an egg crate cushion for the mattress.
