We are grateful for the hospitality! We stayed during Storm Fern where 14” of snow was dumped on Southern Indiana. The cabin was the perfect spot for the storm - cozy, warm, and spacious. The views were incredible and we even braved a brief hike on some of the on-property hiking trail. We feel very grateful for the rental company coordinating with the property owner to ensure the driveway was plowed. The cabin was as described, well stocked, and a scenic gem.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Brown County cabin. The acreage is what truly drew us in, and it did not disappoint. The land is incredibly peaceful and serene — a perfect place to unplug and enjoy nature. We had the opportunity to interact with the owner, who was so kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more special. The management company is super helpful & friendly! This is truly a one-of-a-kind spot, and we will definitely be back in the future. Close to town as well but private. Highly recommend!

The place was easy to find and had lots of room for our four couples. It was very clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed the fire pit and the walking trails.

Patty’s house is absolutely beautiful. Housekeeping needs to spend a little more attention to the oven and some dusting. Pet friendly was great because I could take my pup. However, there was no grass. It’s all gravel unless you go down the steep gravel driveway where there’s a small patch of grass ( She likes to pee in the grass) if you have elderly or handicap people, they may not be able to get to the main floor, which is upstairs 17 steps to be exact. That’s where the kitchen and living room and dining room is. There is a bedroom full bath, a refrigerator and a microwave in the living room and TV downstairs and that can work out just fine too. We were very happy though the house is absolutely beautiful. We loved it. We had a great time and would love to come back plenty of dishes, pots and pans. Anything you could possibly need in a kitchen it’s already there for you.
Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home

Very nice cabin in a great location! Lots of space, and very private, despite obviously experiencing some storm related damage to the property. Plenty to do too, fishing and hiking on site, and tons of movies and games if you just want to hang out inside. Worked perfectly to celebrate a 60th birthday, and as our base for visiting the shops and restaurants in Nashville, the Hard Truth distillery and Brown County State Park. Also relatively close to Bloomington, so all that that area has to offer was available as well. No on-site laundry without requesting access, and an off-site check-in process were minor inconveniences, but overall we had a very enjoyable visit! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

We are so glad you had a great stay and Birthday celebration. Just a note per the Washer /Dryer. Had we known you might have need, some owners do allow them to be unlocked for stays at least 4 nights. No product would be for your use, so would need to add to your what to bring list. As to that list, since all our cabins are individually owned, we are not always aware of what they prefer to provide, so our list is just a general list in the hope "to have as to not have theory". We do look forward to coming again!

Annual Family Trip
We had a great time. Beautiful home with hiking trails on the property. Then came the tornado on Friday evening. Unfortunately, loads of trees came down blocking the entrance to the home as well as covering 2 of our cars. Also, the power was out. The owner came the next morning with chain saws and an excavator to clear the downed trees and uncover our cars. We cut our trip short due to the lack of power. I can't say enough about how safe we were in a really well-built house! Look forward to returning.

We enjoyed our stay at Our Brown County Shack. The cabin is beautiful and it was clean, comfortable and ready for us when we arrived. We loved hiking on the trails and sitting down by the pond. We spent the evenings in the lower level game room or sitting on
a deck outside. This cabin did not disappoint!

We took our 8 grandkids 5-17 for four days to Brown County and stayed in this cabin. It was very nice, clean and spacious. There was a path we could hike on
and a water effect that we could listen to at night on the deck.

All bedrooms were nice sized and enough bathrooms to accomodate everyone.
Everything went smoothly from check in to check out. Highly recommend Hill's O' Brown County rentals.

Five ladies who have all been friends for decades (some for 6 decades)and our 2 doggies enjoyed a great time at "Our Brown County Shack". It was very clean, had everything you'd need to cook all of your meals which we did every day. The beds were very comfortable and having 2 covered decks was awesome since it stormed a few times and we could sit outside and watch/listen to the rain. The only drawback and it was a minor one was there are not a lot places to walk your dog unless you go down a steep gravel driveway to a grassy pasture. There are hiking trails you could use, but we were a bit concerned about ticks. All and all, the dogs adapted and everything worked out fine. And, we did get our workout everyday with the steps! Added bonus, the ladies at Hills O'Brown County Rentals were great to deal with when checking in and out. Great place!

We so enjoyed our stay at Patty’s. We were traveling with our 5 small children and her place was ideal. The land is beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed hiking the trails, exploring the creek, and fishing. The cabin was very comfortable with everything we needed. The covered decks were lovely as well. When we arrived there was no hot water but when I reached out, Patty responded promptly and had it fixed right away. Her cabin is on our list of places to revisit!

We had a great weekend on Our Brown County Shack. I met the builder when I checked in! It is beautiful and built so well! It was ready an hour early, which helped quite a bit. I have rented through Hills O' Brown several times and it's always been a good experience.
It was four couples, friends for decades. We hiked, sat by the fire and talked and laughed.
I look forward to returning either with family or friends, very soon!

My family and I stayed at the "Our Brown County Shack" at the beginning of the month. I just wanted to let you know that it was a fabulous stay and a gorgeous house. The house was very clean, and comfortable. My family really enjoyed our stay and we can't wait to go back! The information that we received pre-stay was very helpful and the timing at which it was sent was also very helpful.
Thank you for providing us with a place to make so many family memories.

Thank you for reaching out to me. We absolutely loved this cabin!!! It was perfect! We did walk the trail and fished in the pond. If we stay another time we would stay longer. Didn’t want to leave the cabin. Firepit was perfect. It rained; it was so nice to be on the porch listening while staying dry.

Our family really enjoyed this cabin. Very spacious! Big deck area and the fishing was great. Small bluegills but it was all about numbers and made for a very competitive fishing contest! Enjoyed having a gas grill this time! Very convenient. Information was very helpful especially about ticks this time of year. That might have been relayed by a staff member. We were prepared and watchful. Thank you.
