Get ready to relax as you settle down to the comforts of the Orchard Cabin. Perched on a high knob, this log cabin opened in 2016, and offers a panoramic view of farm fields and pasture land. You’ll enjoy the spectacular vistas from the cabin’s big windows, as well as from the wrap-around deck and the covered back porch. Seclusion and serenity are at hand when you choose to stay here, yet you’re not far from all sorts of interesting activities in Brown County, and the surrounding area. Let’s have a little closer look at all the amenities…
Upon entering through the front door, you’ll be right in the center of things…the living room, kitchen and dining area are all combined into one large open space with a combination of vinyl and hardwood floors, comfortable furniture facing the flat-screen TV, and a fireplace with gas logs.
Pretty leaf-patterned dishes, granite-topped cabinets, and stainless steel appliances will ensure that those who like to get creative with their meal preparations will be sufficiently inspired to make some culinary masterpieces. For those who are more about filling the empty belly than stirring the pot, there are a number of local eateries ready to help you out. Patio doors open on to the covered porch, where you can get all cozy-like with your favorite cabin companions as you cast your gaze to the woods and nearby fishing pond. Enjoy the pond from the brand new dock.
The master bedroom will be mighty inviting when it’s time for some shut-eye, with its Shaker-style furniture, and lovely quilt on the queen-size bed. A bathroom with a tub/shower combo unit, and a washer and dryer complete the main level of the Orchard Cabin.
Upstairs you’ll find a loft-style sitting area that overlooks the living room, where restful shades of blue and green create a great spot to enjoy the beautiful stained-glass lamps, a desk, and two glider rockers. What a perfect place for reading or some private conversation. Two more bedrooms and a bathroom up here are convenient amenities all the second-floor guests will appreciate.
Wait…there’s more! Go downstairs to the lower level to discover another flat-screen TV, and even a pool table where you can imagine yourself in your very own “The Color of Money” or “The Hustler”-style experience. You can also go out to jump into the hot tub from here and get in a good, long soak at the end of the billiards tournament. Aching muscles and pesky tensions, be gone! Toasting marshmallows, roasting hot dogs, (and some good-natured roasting of your best buds, too!) are a delightful outdoor pastime for Orchard Cabin guests when they gather round the campfire pit. Make a reservation right away and get your “country” on!

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES
#1 - Cancellations of a confirmed reservation must be made by the Guest who made the original reservation, not a representative of that Guest.
#2 - Reservations cancelled more than 14 days prior to the arrival incur a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total charges before tax, plus the $30 handling fee.
#3 - Reservations cancelled 8-14 days prior to arrival, you lose the deposit paid.
#4 - Reservations cancelled within 7 days of the arrival, there is NO REFUND!
#5 - When within 14 days of arrival, the reservation cannot be shortened or moved.
#6 - When within 7 days of arrival, reservations cannot be changed or altered. No exceptions.

RESERVATIONS
#1 - The remaining balance will be due 7 days prior to check-in and will be automatically charged to the card on file. If you want a different charge card used for this balance, you must notify us before this balance is charged.
#2 - Refunds are not issued due to inclement weather, snow or acts of God that are out of our control.

Our recent stay at the Orchard went really well. The place was very clean inside and I liked that you had the essentials for back up if we didn't bring extra, like toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, and spices. The couch and recliners on ground level where nice but the other furniture is out of date. The beds where comfy. I however would suggest to put patio furniture by the hot tub for those who do not wish to sit in the hot tub. We had nightly visitors both nights. Two huge racoons ate every bit of the peanuts and the sunflower seeds that you had in the bird feeders. We would yell and run them off but every time they would be back in a few minutes. We would push the rods way out with the feeder on it and they would take their little hands and pull the rod near them so they could feast. Smart racoons, you knew they have done this before. I did enjoy watching the birds out back while sitting with my morning coffee. The checking in and checking out was a smooth transition. I do like how Hills O Brown printed off the correct directions to the cabin. GPS will take you on the wrong roads. Brown County( Nashville ) wasn't but 6 miles from us. It's a quaint little town with shops here and there. They do not have anything that delivers to your cabin so make sure you bring snacks. I don't even believe they have UBER because I asked a waitress. We took some hiking trails at the Yellowwood State Park. It must of rain prior because the trails were really muddy. We enjoyed our time at Brown County and will be back. Thank you for the wonderful cabin!

We have a wonderful time at The Orchard Cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable. We rented last minute and the whole process was very simple. We had no problems . Everyone was very friendly! We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was beautiful and clean. It had an amazing view and nice fireplace. We really love the extra touch of the bird seed in one of the cabinets. We filled a couple feeders and saw so many neat birds while we were there!

Good afternoon! I wanted to send some feedback on our recent stay at,”the Orchard”. We had a great time and really enjoyed the cabin. It was very picturesque and a beautifully made. There were a lot of personalized touches , such as all the bird feeders on the side deck and the many potted flowers. Every morning (and throughout the day), many different birds ( and hummingbirds) were visible from the doors and windows. The cabin was located a few miles out of town which made access to everything easy. The hillside view was also very scenic. There really is so much to see and do that 4 days is really not long enough. We will definitely be back

This place was breathtaking! We enjoyed the time spent there. Beautiful surroundings. Loved the mornings on the deck watching birds from a rocking chair. Beds were comfy and everything was clean upon arrival. We would definitely stay again!
This cabin is so thoughtfully positioned on the property you'll feel totally secluded even though there are some nearish neighbors. The interior was spotless and really well stocked, and the beds were all very cozy. We especially enjoyed all the filled bird feeders along the covered deck. We sat outside with coffee both mornings to bird watch. We'd happily book this place again.

We had a great stay. Loved that the cabin was well equipped (although it could use some sort of rocks type glasses for cocktails). But otherwise there were plenty of supplies, was clean, and the views were amazing! Would love to come back sometime.

WE stayed at the Orchard Cabin at brown county log cabins
and we always love staying there, It is a great cabin always clean and welcoming. I do have to say the cabin is so nice and we love it. Looking forward to staying there again soon.

Our stay was wonderful, as always. We had only one issue which, when brought to your attention, was immediately taken care of. The cabin is beautiful, as is the property. Very convenient to shopping, hiking, dining, etc. The check in process is great. I know some complain about having to come to the office and dealing with keys instead of codes, but we like the set-up as it is. The emails arrived at perfect times and were very informative. Five gold stars!
